Reminded me a bit of the movie "Crazy People" where the main character
says "the only thing I ever wanted was a 1977 Saab 99 GLE", and gets it.

I read an article about this story that says that Corey Wadden bought
the car from a collector who had a lot more 99s. Anyone we know? Maybe
Canadian?

Look in the thank yous at the end for Mikail H. I don't have the spelling, but he is a great Saab collector and restorer in Ontario I believe. I bet he had a hand in sourcing the car.
