Vintage Saab Scam

Fellow Vintage Saabers,
It is with great regret that I must pass along to the community out of fear that others will fall victim to a would-be Saab guru.  I can provide details offline but I along with others have been scammed by a Vernon Atterberry with respect to Saab restoration work.  Maybe we are the only ones but I doubt the last.  I believe that he has passion for Saabs but is also so concerned with the mighty dollar it leads to greed and dishonesty.  I felt it imperative to caution those that ever find an opportunity to have any work done to get it in writing or better yet, look somewhere else.  I would be more than glad to support my statements.

I’m not commenting on the veracity of the email (which I don’t doubt is accurate), but this should make it clear that mistreating Saab guys will come back to haunt you. VSaab will make sure your deeds, good or bad, are broadcast to everyone.

The days of suffering in silence are over.
